Survey shows drop in suppliers' satisfaction.

Suppliers are less happy than they were last year with their automaker customers, even their most favored ones.

In a May-June global survey, 223 supplier executives rated relations with only two of 30 global automakers as better this year than last. Of those two, Skoda ranked above average in the 2011 Supplier Relationship index, while Chrysler's overall rank was below average.

Porsche AG edged Toyota Motor Corp. to finish No. 1 in the eyes of parts makers in the new study. But the scores fell for Porsche, Toyota, and other top-ranked automakers, including Honda Motor Co., BMW AG and Audi AG.
